Up to the smoking process, we treat our grilled sausage with the same special care as we do our cooked sausage. However, instead of smoking the grilled sausage, we cover the coating/crust of the sausage with a carefully selected blend of herbs and spices. Subsequently, we we grill the sausage until it has been cooked through and it has reached the stage at which it delivers the perfect taste experience.
In terms of shape and size, you can order our grilled sausage both sliced and unsliced. We are also constantly searching for new flavor innovations for our grilled sausage, and sometimes we come up with some popular varieties. Examples of variations on the plain grilled sausage which we developed through the years include the piri piri, satay (without peanut allergens), and the ham & cheese variety. These flavors are mixed into the sausage mixture, and they taste great in combination with the spice blend coating which cooks into the mixture during grilling. We also offer grilled sausage that has not been grilled. This sausage still has to be coated with a blend of herbs and spices, and then grilled in an oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. This gives the sausage a fresh and warm taste. For direct customers we offer our do-it-yourself pack, which contains a not-grilled sausage with an added bag of spices.
